The Parks Department is close to inking a deal with a new concessionaire to get the carousels at both Forest Park and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park up and running by Memorial Day.
It will be the first time the historic Forest Park Carousel has been open to the public in almost four years.
Officials said the agency has selected New York Carousel Entertainment LLC to operate the carousels but has not yet finalized the agreement.
