After a five-year hiatus a carousel in Queens re-opened on Saturday. The historic Forest Park Carousel is over a century old and is back with newly polished floors and clear lightbulbs.
The carousel debuted in Massachusetts in 1903, but has been closed to the public since 2008. It contains 49 horses, two chariots, a lion, a tiger, and a deer.
